Dependencies does not work

    Hi, i’m trying to set some dependencies between courses but it seems to ignore them. The courser are always open.
    I have created a course with chapters and modules but the requirements are ignored. I’m just trying to set the first module required to be able to do the second module, but after some days of trying nothing happens on the frontend. All modules are always open without taking care of the dependencies.

    Hi Elias,
    I’ve the same problem and the version of WordPress is 5.7.
    I’ve also tried to downgrade WordPress starting from the 4.6 going ahead to the 5.7 but the issue is the same always. No dependencies and all the modules are always unlocked.

    To help other with my problem I discovered the reason of the problem.
    Dependencies not working with super admin. To check it you need to login with a user with limited powers!

    we appreciate your input on this topic.

    • So what you say is, that in the frontend all courses are accessible without considering the dependencies if you are logged in with the super admin? But with a different user the dependencies are working correctly?
    • Are you on a WP Multisite Network, i just ask because you wrote “super admin” and this role only exists in WP Multisite. Or did you just mean the admin role in a “normal” WP install?

    @gabrielecicconetti have you already tried another user than admin/super admin?
