• Hi

Experimenting with a low cost management system (GRC) built on Word Press. How to make a package that includes a theme, some plug ins, pages/forms so a WP site can be ready to go? with a simple upload by non-technical users? Any pointers?

  • There is no simple answer to this question. You would need to know how the package is structured. If the data is all mixed up, you would have to manually sort it into the WordPress directories. Would it be possible to show a screenshot of the content? Then you might be able to give a better answer. You can provide a screenshot as described here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/forum-user-guide/block-editor/#adding-screenshots

    Hi Threadi

thanks for replying. OK I am a rookie with Word Press and after a few hours of frustration, my AI chum found a blog and someone described a hosting blockage.

When I looked at the files they meant squat to me, but my hosting people found two duff files: ‘name index.html’ and ‘index.php.we’. Some how when changing the default theme the originals got duplicated!

Maybe this will help someone else.

thanks for making the time to help, appreciated.
