The current dev version (2.3.2-dev) has all curly brace string offsets removed.

I’m having trouble installing PHP 7.4 in my test environment, so please let me know if this fixes the issue.

OK, I need to catch all the dynamic offsets like $str{$num}. Will address it tomorrow.

Duplicate issues are being redirected here.

The fix won’t go live until I’ve received some level of confirmation that the issue is resolved on the dev branch.
