deprecated paypal buttons

  • The library where I post trips on the Friends’ website uses paypal for payments and donations. Paypal saved buttons, buy now, for example, are deprecated. I am completely lost trying to follow their new button creation methods. It is not at all user friendly – you’d have to posses intricate coding knowledge. Is there a plugin or widget anyone can suggest? I can’t be the only person with this issue, but I’m not finding complaints from others. Thank you.

  • This is one of the plugins I support and it does basic PayPal stuff fairly well

    Thank you so much, Alan. I will give it a try. We at the library only use paypal for extremely basic collection; nothing sophisticated at all. I had to look up what deprecated means, so the paypal instructions talking about sandboxes, GitHub, fork collections, and java script files had me spinning around in circles.
