Hi there, I’m trying to add custom user types to the author box on the post page, I read that the reason authors show up here and not every user with “Edit Post” capabilities is due to authors having the deprecated user level of 0. So using your plugin, with the deprecated user levels displayed, I have added user level 0 (and 1 and 2, as that’s what authors also have) to two custom user types but they’re still not displaying in the author box, I understand that this probably has nothing to do with your plugin but I figured I’d ask just in case you could shed some light on why this might be happening? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

    Jack.

Scratch that, I did a little bit more research (should have done this before posting, so I apologise for that. But hey now this is here if anyone else has the same problem) turns out after changing the role level on my custom user types I had to change the users to a different role and then change them back to cause the level to update in the DB.

So thanks again for a great plugin, I’ve found it incredibly helpful in so many ways.

    Jack.
