• Is there a way to implement depth into pro version? I’m willing to help code it in myself if you’d like. Not sure if it’s capable or feasible though.

Let me know what you’ve come across please.

Can you please elaborate on what you are after?

When the models load in AR view they are passed off to the native AR viewer (Quicklook on iOS and Scene Viewer on Android) which both allow you move the model along the horizontal plane to a depth you wish. Being in the native app, it is now independent of the plugin itself.

Depth is an API mate. Hardware dependant to a degree but that won’t last long.

Just curious how it’s all implemented. Would love to chat more.

    Hi Dallas,
The plugins use the https://modelviewer.dev code that then passes the AR models to the native viewers on the phone/tablet. They aren’t using AR Core so we can’t utilise the depth API unfortunately.

No doubt the native AR viewers for iOS and Android will implement their own depth perception in the near future.

Any further queries please let me know.
    Nick
