Hi, whatever I do in configuration with Foogallery Lightbox, if description (Beschreibung) AND caption (Beschriftung) of media are filled with text, both are shown in the lightbox. Even if I check “none” for both, this has to influence on what is shown.

Thumbnails are hidden, type is responsive picture gallery, change of caption source (same as thumbnail, override, individual) does not change anything. Any help for me what I am doing wrong? Above page is my test page I tried all the changes with.

    Thanks

    Peter

    Hi @paganini58

From your message, I understand that you don’t want the caption and description to be displayed on the FooGallery Lightbox.

To achieve this, kindly navigate to Lightbox -> Captions and set it to “Disabled” as shown in this linked image: https://prnt.sc/NpRPZMV9aQWg

    Thanks.

    Kind regards,
    Elvis.

Thanks for your answer. No, sorry, I want either caption OR description to be displayed, but the system always shows both, no matter which radio buttons I switch on or off. Even if both radio buttons are at “none”, both texts appear. Is there any CSS I can add either to exclude ONE (description or caption)? Thanks and regards Peter

    Hi?@paganini58

To achieve this, kindly navigate to Lightbox -> Captions -> Caption Source and then set it to “Override” as shown in this linked image: https://prnt.sc/oPLUfPF8GSR1

You will then be able to select the caption title or caption description which will be displayed in FooGallery Lightbox. Thanks.

    Kind regards,
    Elvis.
