Description not being imported

    The feed I’m using has for every item guid, title, description, link, pubDate, and content and media. The description is not being imported. I’ve tried Force the Feed, Force Full Content, Import Post Excerpt, but nothing works. I’ve searched the database for the descriptions and they are not in there.

    Does a field need to be added to a Post Type to receive this information? Can the description be mapped to populate a Custom Post Type if necessary?

    This seems like a standard item that would normally be imported, so maybe I’m missing something simple.

  • This happened to me yesterday for the first time.

    The title imported, the feed top post plugin assigned the correct categories, but the description field was blank.

    I have never had it happen before and have no idea why, waiting for support.
