• Hi guys, I’m looking at google and it’s giving a wrong description of my site, when I type: “elkepon” on google, it gives a random paragraph. How can I tell google what to write on that description?

    Thanks

In case it’s needed for checking, the web is: elkepon.com

This is the meta-description for your home page:
<meta name="description" itemprop="description" content="Website dedicated to provide free information to boost self-confidence, learn new skills and live a better life." />

This is what google shows me

Head over to Google webmaster tools and review what it’s seeing when it looks are your site.

The meta description is only a suggestion to Google; they do what they want.

So does that mean that I can’t changed what google shows on the result?:

    This is what I get:

you get what you get. Google looks at the meta description, your site’s content, etc.

You do not have a WP problem; you have an SEO research question. ??
