    Hello People,

    I was searching through this forum, but wasnt able to find a solution.

    i have a small problem with the description field of my podcast feed. In my settings i activated the point show full blog post as description, but in the feed it always shows it cut of with the “read more” tag ( Im in Germany so it says “Lesen Sie weiter” ).

    What do i do wrong?

    Give this a try:
    1.) Log in to your WordPress site
    2.) Go to general Settings >> Reading
    3.) Set the syndication option to Full Text instead of Summary and click the Save Changes button
    4.) Clear any site caches, if applicable

    When you type your blog posts for your Podcast Episodes, are you using the More function in your posts? I’m sure the “More” function looks like something else in German, but it’s the function in WordPress that puts up a message that says something like “Click here to continue reading…” on archive pages on your site.

    Is there anywhere on your website (not feed) where you also have this exact text “Lesen Sie weiter”? It may be the theme is adding this to all content, when it should only be doing this if the function is_feed() == false.

    Hey @amandato,

    i think actually this was the problem. In my feed the description is now in full length. Itunes and Spotify now only have to refresh. Fingers crossed.

    Maybe for other user, in the customizer of my theme there was also the function for showing the full blog post. This worked for my page, but not my feed. I had to modify the amount of showed words aswell and this seems to fix my problem.

    I will answer one last time if itunes and spotify refreshed everything the way i wanted.
