Descriptions on Thumbnail page

    Hello,
    It’s really good plugin I was looking for! May I ask some questions? I want to show descriptions on thumbnails below the image, could you please how to add it? Also is there a way that only shows thumbnail page?

  • Hi Heejae,

    Too much information in description field could make an issue with thumbnail size. So, There is no way to show description in thumbnail. But you may try creating new custom field and set that custom field display to “Thumbnail view”. For only showing thumbnail view you can use excluded_layouts attribute in your shortcode. See example given below.
    [product-catalogue id='X' excluded_layouts='list, detail']

    I’ve tried on trial mode. and the text went out of the border like this.
    out of the box
    I did on both short text and text area too. Could you help me?

    That’s just happening because the thumbnail box has maximum height set. You could go to the “Thumbnail” area of the “Styling” tab and make use of the “box min-height” and “box max-height” settings there to get the box to the height you want to fit your fields.
