Deselecting Style presets

I am having problems with the Style Presets. I clicked and saved one of them to test how it would look on my site and then decided I would rather choose my own fonts and leave the colours as I had already set up.
I am not able ‘unselect’ the Style Preset. I can select another Style Present option and save it, but I can’t unselect the current style and save so no style preset are selected. I don’t want to use the Style Preset feature, but can’t figure out how to turn it off!
For example when I tried to click on the check mark for Lovely, I couldn’t deselect it… the only way I could change it, was to select a different style.
