    I decided to update. Well, all content and design was gone. Like i installed a new plugin and i could start from stratch.
    Well no worries, with my backup it was back in 10 minutes. So i keep using an old version and do not update.

    I have about 7 clients using this Page Builder. I cannot redo al websites again.
    So i hope you can achieve to create a version that keeps all content intact just as with updating any plugin.

    I like the pagebuilder very much. I have some time left to decide so i really hope you will fix this or give a way to recover old content because otherwise i really have to switch and take a lot of hours as a loss. I cannot sell this to a client.

    So take your time, i will stick to the plugin, but fix it. Also start communicating more on your website and channels. We do not hate bad news, we want to be involved and know when you think you gonna fix this. This will make it easier to inform clients because we really look like idiots if we have no answer.

  • I am a user of the Pro version, and I’ll go post a service request, but I am currently not having any problems with the site where I am using that version, and given the “several” current issues, I’m leaving well enough alone. I do hope my request won’t be denied because it refers to a site where the Pro plugin isn’t in use (assuming I can submit the request at all).

    Also, it would be better customer service for you to use the contacts you have here to find and provide fixes for both the paid and free users, rather than ask us to jump through extra hoops.

    As I noted above, your workaround for the HTML block issue appears to be very limited in its usefulness. All the “workarounds” above are better described as “ugly hacks”.

    Definitely a fair point @rcharbonxx but WordPress has pretty strict rules on what types of support we can and cannot provide on the forums as well as what we can and cannot ask for to try to provide that support. So, for free users I have to make sure we are complying with those rules. For someone using a premium tool, we have more options.
