hi, is there a way to make the cooky bar like the one on https://cookiemagic.eu/cookiebot-custom-banner-designs/ ? I know from clients this get 95% acceptance.
It has a big [accept] button and a smaller ‘manage cookies’ tekst that opens a box in the popup.

    – Two screens centered in the browser window.
    – All cookies will be loaded when clicking “Accept”.
    – Clicking on “Manage cookies” displays the second screen. Visitors then makes a choice in consent options. The options are unchecked by default.
    – Opt-in rates up to 95% average are possible.

And another question: is there a way to show/dont show the cookiebar based on country? (I know its already working together with WPML for language)

Hi, thanks for the hint. To be totally honest: i would love to do that but at the moment i do not have so much capacities for adapting the frontend of the banner.

but as soon as this changes i will work on that point as well.
Do you know the “blocking screen” feature already? With that the user has to take an action as well. And maybe you will get similiar acceptance rates.

    Hi Nikel,
Iam more then happy if you rise prices for your paid versions, it deserves it. Yes I found “blocking screen” witch helps indeed to get more consent (although people can still read articles with a footer popup that not intrusive)

I found on the Osana website the exact example I mentioned in my question:
    https://docs.osano.com/article/263-first-layer-categories-manage-preferences
Its called: First Layer Categories DISABLED | Manage Preferences

That wil help get 95% of the people do the no brainer click to accept all.

I read on ‘whats new’ also about my this feature:

Osano’s Consent Management feature now includes a “first-layer categories” toggle: This may result in an opt-in rate increase. When switched to “on,” users see cookie categories with an “accept all” and a “save” button. When switched to “off,” users don’t see categories within the banner. Instead, they simply see an “accept all” and a “manage preferences” button. If the user selects “manage preferences,” the cookie drawer opens and displays categories of choice. (Note: This feature only affects users in European Economic Area countries and the U.K.)

Are these settings also via the export/import settings editable like you stated here https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/banner-position-center-or-banner-top-pushdown/#new-topic-0 for style like ‘banner top (pushdown’.

Ir is that only possible when you use the latest Osana lib (I somewhere read you use v 2.x?

    Hi,

I use 3.1 from osano, which is the last version on their master branch. The documentation you are referring to is true for the version 4.0 which is stuck in dev.
At least for the os version.
I think they finished the banner in version 4 for their paid version.

    Regards
    Nikel
