Design Templates not Responsive?

Hello, and thanks for a very helpful product!

Using Product Table Pro 7.0.4

There seems to be some unpredictability in the Responsiveness of the table design, at least between Desktop and Mobile. There are a few examples I’ve found where design differences (or things that should be the same) between the two are not properly displayed. A basic example is using the included Templates (Design -> Select Template), such as “Smart Thin”, “Default Style”, etc.

Most of the template designs show alternating row colors, one white, then one gray, then white, etc. On a desktop, it displays properly, but on Mobile, the rows are all white. Both the “Desktop” and “Mobile” device tabs are configured with the same columns, etc.

How best to have the table designs (especially the Templates) behave consistently across devices? I know some specific Style elements can be made responsive on the Desktop/Tablet/Mobile tabs, but the “Design” tab (and templates) settings presumably apply to all devices, correct? So for example, it seems template-based things like the alternating row colors should appear across all three device types, especially if none of the specific device style setting have been customized.

Separate question:
How would I add a blank or colored row which spans all columns, in between each product row? For example:
