  • Hi @foodopi, thank you for contacting us.

What you want to achieve is easily done by using categories feature of WordPress.
    I hope you’ll find this tutorial useful – https://www.wpbeginner.com/glossary/category/

    It worked brilliant thanks….:)…..!

Was trying to put pages link the header left, its coming as a vertical list, wanted it horizontal, and can we select which page to be displayed…please help

    Regards,

    You’re welcome. ??

If you right now try to load your website on a mobile phone, I believe that you’ll find this thread useful – https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/change-social-media-icons-layout-on-mobile-view/ ??

So if you put the menu left, I’ll come back with some CSS that will make it horisontal.
You can easily select what pages will be in the menu if you go to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Menus and then select “Top Right” menu. Then change its content as you like it. Don’t forget to save it, once done.

    Kind regards.

Following the cue have added the CSS for the mobile menu, and it worked. Thanks

Have added the pages on top left, two issues:

    1. First is the heading pages is not required.
    2. It appears in vertically, would prefer it horizontal and lesser size from the present ones.

    Regards.

Could I ask you if you’ve created that menu in the same way as one on the right side?
By that, I mean placing Navigation Menu widget inside Top Left widget position and then assigning Top-Right menu to the Navigation Menu widget?

At First did not do the way u have asked, but now tried doing it i get the whole main on the top so removed both of them. As of now that’s the status quo…:-)

The most likely reason why you’ve got the whole Main menu there is that you don’t have Top-Right menu created.
For your convenience, I’ve included the link to Kale pdf user manual. Please review the part regarding menus – https://www.lyrathemes.com/documentation/kale.pdf

Once you create Top-Right menu and put it in the Header-Left widget ?? I’ll be able to suggest some CSS for you.

    Hope this helps.

    Kind regards.

The top right menu have created using customize-widgets-navigation menu and selecting social menu, Since the custom link was not working.

Now I am trying to insert the top left menu with the pages, that’s where I am facing problem i.e. it’s showing in vertical with the header “Pages”.

    Please advice…

    Hi @foodopi,

I assume you added Pages widget to the Header Left widget area.

To add menu with pages to the Header Left area follow these steps:

    1. Go to Appearance → Menus and create new menu called i.e. Top Left (see this: https://prntscr.com/i8uv5s)
    2. Add some pages to this menu and save it
    3. Open Appearance → Widgets and add Custom Menu widget
    4. Select Top Left menu from dropdown list (see this: https://prntscr.com/i8uyfr)

You should see something like this: https://prntscr.com/i8uzcj

    Hope that helps.
