Designing Sales/Service Site One Sign In

This problem is probably simple, but since I’m OJT in web building, I haven’t crossed it yet… Here’s what I’m wanting to do. Let me first start by telling you I am an Office Equipment Dealer. We sell and service copiers, printers, scanners, VOIP Telephones, etc… That will help you visualize what I need to accomplish.

I need to create a sales/service website where based upon the user’s sign-in, they only see things associated with their account/level. I need them to sign in “once” to see “all” areas of individual concern. Where I’m having problems is, I know how to create a sign in for sales portion, and sign in for service portion. I’m doing something wrong, and need advice/help.

The other complication is: I need sign-in, with visibility based upon individual. Ie, I handle accounts with multiple locations, departments, etc. So sign in value pertains to individual’s authorized areas of view only. I need management/executive level sign in to oversee company level activity. etc. Also, sign-in for accounting department versus operator, manager, IT division, etc.

If there is a plugin that can help me do this, I’m happy to hear suggestions. I will be using WooCommerce and looking for a good service ticketing system to install with it.

The biggest problem with ticketing systems in WordPress is they only capture “links” and attempt to keep communication trails in email. I want a direct captured service ticket. Where “all” information is kept historically in that database. Email links can be destroyed easily, and not a worthy form of maintaining integrity with service history over time.

Anyway, if you’ve read this far, THANK YOU for at least hearing my concerns/needs. I look forward to any suggestions. The only bad one, is one you don’t share. ?? I’m a novice at site-building, but a very quick study.
