I am trying to figure out how to modify the podcast page on my site by using either a page builder (such as Elementor) or just the block editor.

Seriously Simple Podcasting is creating a page at mysite.com/podcast

Can I CHANGE that slug so that I can create another page with it and design it the way I want it?

Also, is there a way to add the nice preview card (is that what you call it?) that the plugin puts on that page on a different page?

I was looking through the documentation but couldn’t find anything like this.

The podcast page is going to look out of place in my site design if I don’t modify the look and feel of the page.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi @thirstyjon,

There is a way to modify the /podcast URL but it does require some customization so please make a backup of your site before moving forward.

The following help article can assist with this: https://support.castos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360018867240-Modifying-podcast-URLs

This will allow you to change /podcast to something else, perhaps /episode-archive, and then free up /podcast for you to use for your custom podcast page. ??

    Thank you @keleigh824 !

I’m not sure why I didn’t find that when I was searching, but that looks like the answer I was seeking.

Plus, I am now learning about “hooks” and the version of Kadence theme that I am using, and apparently I can actually edit archive pages that way.

My podcast is live now with Seriously Simple Podcasting and I’m excited for the journey ahead. ??
