    Hi,

    Glad to see you guys back up and running, but Houston, we have a problem… on all of my sites, and there are 50+, all menus have disappeared. Desktop and the mobile / hamburger.

    I can see your css is saying:

    #menu-main {
    ?    display: none !important;
    }

    wp-content/uploads/rmp-menu/css/rmp-menu.css

    That explains the desktop, and don’t even think the mobile is showing up in the source.

    If I roll back to 4.1.4 and it works again. I will leave it to the most recent for now, but look forward to hearing back (or the next update). Please let me know if I can assist in any other way.

    Thanks! And, hope all is well!

  • My site is ruined too. I don’t know what to do.

    Install the rollback plugin from the repository and take it back to 4.1.4 for now is my advice, Chris.

    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-rollback/

    Hope that helps. Just rolled back a bunch of sites and that appears to work for each that had the issue.

    Also, to the plugin developer, it wasn’t every site that had this issue, but most of them.

    Thank you Joseph. I really appreciate this help. I was so worried when my site didn’t work. Has this developer abandoned this plugin? I am still getting warnings from Wordfence. Thanks in advance.

    Yes, it looks as if they have reinstated the account, as we were able to do the update, and there is no notification on the plugin’s homepage showing there is still a suspension of the account.

    And, you’re welcome. Hopefully, they will get back to this thread and get it sorted soon.

    Happy Holiday, Chris.

    Great news Joseph. Again thank you so much for helping me out. I didn’t want my site down over the holidays. I have reverted back to 4.1.4 as per your instructions, and it’s perfect. I will wait until it is resolved. No doubt the next update will show as 4.1.7

    Thanks once again for flagging up this error.

    Happy holidays to you too.

    My website no longer functions on any mobile device. Even on 4.1.4 the hamburger menu has disappeared. My business is officially crippled ??

    After a bit of dabbling the hamburger menu has returned. I am still using 4.1.4
    I will remain on that one until it is fixed.

    Same problem here. All my menus disappeared after updating to 4.1.6. Fortunately, I had a copy of 4.1.4 on my local hard drive. I manually uploaded it to the live site and restored my menus.

    Had this same problem. Couldn’t fix it in the plugin settings, so I did the rollback to 4.1.4.

    If you don’t want to install the rollback plugin, here are the plugin files: https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/responsive-menu.4.1.4.zip

    Happened to me as well. Had a mobile-only menu set up and it disappeared when I updated. Had to rollback.

    Yeah, it caused 500 server error on my websites. Rolling back to 4.1.4 fixed and it’s the last best version. 4.1.5 also works, but has a new crappy interface, and focused on pushing to buy the pro. Now I understand why WordPress removed it. The plugin has become less usable and an advertisement for the pro version.

    @mesmer7 Even if you did not happen to have copy of old version of plugin on your computer, you can just download from the web site.

    So for example, the URL for the latest version is https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/responsive-menu.4.1.6.zip – if you click on Download button.

    But if you wanted v 4.1.4, just go to

    https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/responsive-menu.4.1.4.zip

    This should work with most (all?) plugins. Assuming they have not completely deleted it. And then once you have the file, just upload it via FTP

    @asy1mpo Thanks. I wasn’t aware of that.

    Same thing happened with my site. I’m sticking with 4.14 until I hear otherwise.
