• This is actually a 3 part question. I just used the topic title as one of my questions.

1)The desktop mobile switching feature does not seem to work correctly on mobile devices.

Turning this feature on, while on a mobile phone and you click “switch to desktop” it does go to the desktop mobile version of the website. But if you click (on the mobile device) back to “mobile version”, it still stays on the desktop version and doesn’t revert back to the wptouch mobile version.

I have tested this on both Android and Apple phones. The end result is the same on these devices. Now I can easily fix the problem by just turning off the “Theme Toggle Switch” and just not give my website visitors the option to switch to a desktop view. But im sure it would be nice for some users to be able to switch back and forth between mobile and desktop view, especially when reading articles for users who have a hard time reading smaller mobile print as opposed to the larger desktop version print of the website. Also, visitors using tablets to access the website would probably like the option to switch between views. Any feedback on this or has anyone else noticed this as well?

    2) With “use menu icons” switched to on, the desktop version of my website on an actual laptop tries to load the menu icons for a split second. It shows on a GTMetrix report as a hidden image. The menu icons work perfectly on mobile versions, but for some reason, it tries to load them on the desktop version for a brief second. You can see the blank image next to “home” on my menu if you look close enough and refreshing the page. Any thoughts on this one?

    3) With the WPTouch “social sharing: Show sharing links on posts will show Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Email, and SMS buttons.”…..the SMS button seems to not do anything except causing an error. Pressing it on a mobile device brings you to the text message, but it gives an error:

    “Texting with &body=Home: https:markquitterracing.com/(SMS/MMS)”
    Sender does not support replies

Any feedback on this one, or what should be happening when the SMS is clicked?
