    How does desktop notification work with chrome? Do i have to do any settings in chrome?

    when i use Microsoft Edge it works fine.

    I tried using same version and it is working.
    are you in incognito window?
    remember in chrome incognito window desktop notification do not work.

    no i am not using chrome incognito. i have tried on different computers and Microsoft edge works not not on chrome.

    It is very confusing.
    I am also using same chrome version and it is working fine.
    Is your website in development? Can you install beta version? If yes, please download and install https://github.com/shamim2883/front-end-pm. Some code have changes in this version in desktop notification.
    Clear your website and browser cache and try.
    Let me know.

    i update to version 7.1 but i cannot find desktop notification , where can find it , i send message but not notification appear

    also , the appearance tab is not show in setting

    could it be because my website in is not secured?

    i have tried all above suggestions but nothing worked for chrome.

    desktop notification works fine on Microsoft edge.

    This thread cant go on forever.

    If you followed how important it is for SSL within SEO, security in general, to be on any site that has payments, or any kind of membership or comments “MUST” have an SSL. Thats life.
