With Chrome 67 released to stable channel today, Chrome now supports PWA on desktop. You have to enable it with chrome://flags, but it works. Checkout https://mobile.twitter.com/ and then select Chrome menu where you’ll see Install Twitter Lite.

Will this plugin support Chrome Desktop PWA so I can install on my site on the desktop browser?

  • Hello @sdetoffol,

Good day! Yes! ?? Upon our tests two months before, it worked perfectly and we added the desktop PWA via that. Can you checkout our SuperPWA website and confirm it.

    Looking forward.

I see the Install SuperPWA… option for your site, but not for mine, where I installed the plugin. I can Add to Homescreen on Android and it works.

Thanks for letting me know. I checked your website and noticed that you are using Jetpack for the generation of web manifest, that’s why you noticed the “Add to Home screen” on your Android device.

Also noticed that currently our manifest and service worker are not upon the source-code of your website, I think you’re using a caching plugin called WP-Super-Cache, can you please clear the cache and let me know.

Did you get a chance to look into this @sdetoffol?
