Desktop vs Mobile caching

Hi,

I use a social share plugin. I use a different format (lay-out, position etc.) on desktop and mobile.

On mobile, I see sometimes the desktop version and vice versa.

I understood from the plugin support, that is due to Autoptimize. Please see below:

“Autoptimize caches the data upon visit of the page and stores just one version for all devices. So on the pages, you see a problem probably it is opened initially on mobile or desktop.”

Is this correct? And is there a solution for this?
