Destroyed my site!

  • I deleted this plugin and then found my site completely broken, widgets gone, page layouts destroyed, menu options plastered all over the screen. Total panic. I could not even use a backup to recover because my cache software had been showing me a good version of the site for so long that I no longer had good backups to restore.

    In the end, weeks of work were lost, I had to delete the entire site and start from scratch.

    This plugin SHOULD HAVE A LARGE WARNING ATTACHED. It should not be available to the general public. It has cost me thousands of dollars.

    To say I am angry is putting it mildly.

    I’m really sorry to hear that. Activating or deactivating the plugin should be harmless unless you are making heavy use of the experimental features. It’s hard to tell what could have been the culprit but if you have any further info to share it’d be useful. Thanks.
