Destroyed something that I’m now not able to restore

  • Activated the function to “split” creade & edit posts (instead of just “edit posts” which is the wordpress default for both functions) and it broke some functionality connected to custom post types. Be careful, and make backups first.

    For reference:

    Core Create Caps
    Adds the create_posts and create_pages caps to posts/pages to separate them from their edit_* counterparts, providing more flexible editing capabilities.

    After activating this it broke something related to user roles and how it applies to custom post types (Avada Builder for instance). We now have to give full post-permissions for our users to be able to create drafts for review of other content types.

    Probably a conflict between plugins.

    Members should have a possibility of restoring setting when uninstalling
