Details about the option

  • Hello Author. I have been using this plugin ever since I started blogging. There is an option to disable caching on all the ad blocks. What is this opyion for. Do I need to turn it on or off. I don’t know properly. When I leave it enabled My Adsense CTR is more. Im bit confussed. Will it affect the WP super cache plugin system caching or just the caching of ads. Please explain it. I checked the official site and did not find much details on this option.

    Option to disable caching is to disable caching of page where the block with this option enabled is inserted.
    It tells WP caching plugin to not cache that page.
    Of course, this option works only for listed WP caching plugins.

    Do I need to keep this option enabled for the adrotator to work? . When I enable this option the adrotate option seams to be not working. I keep seeing the same ad.

    No.

    Rotation can work even if you are using caching.
    Of course, in such case you need to use client-side dynamic blocks:

    Thank you for the help. Now the adrotate works as expected. Is it possible to combine both the Adrotate option and Adinserter Amp option? I need to rotate ads in the desktop view but the ads in the amp pages should not rotate. Is it possible to achieve such result? Currently, I have made the code as

    Ad code 1
    [Adinseter Amp] (1)
    [adinserter rotate]
    Ad code 2
    [Adinseter Amp](1)

    Is it the correct approach?

    UPDATE

    Client-side ad rotation needs javascript code which can’t be used on AMP pages.

    Therefore, you can’t use ad rotation on AMP pages.

    Hello, I do not want ad rotation in AMP pages. If the same ad displays it is ok for me. The question is, how to display an amp ad when ad rotation is enabled in the normal pages.

    Then the easiest solution would be to use two blocks.

    The first one set for rotation – the code will not be inserted on AMP pages.
    The second block configure for the same position as the first one and use code:

    [ADINSERTER AMP]
ad code for amp pages

    This code will be inserted only on AMP pages.
