Detect browser language bypasses user choice

  • Has anyone else tried this? When Detect browser option is enabled when I choose a different language than browser, leave the website and revisit the browser language is shown again instead of the last chosen language.
    How do I save this for returning users?

    This Might have to do with the GDPR Cookie Consent plugin?
    I do not see the PLL_COOKIE in the cookielist during browsing/testing

    Hello,

    The user preference is indeed saved in a cookie. It’s name is pll_language, unless you modified it by setting the constant PLL_COOKIE.

    I did not modify the cookie constant and it is just not working as standard on the website.
    Do I have to enable the cookie somewhere?
