Determine Deposit and collect balance

  • Woo Bot has, I think, provided incorrect information following a query I raised relating to the Deposit Plugin.

    Basically, I have a client who wants to set a condition so that when someone wants to make a booking they will either:

    (a) Pay the full amount if the booking date is less than 30 days in the future or
    (b) pay a deposit (fixed or %) if the booking date is more than 30 days in the future with the balance becoming payable when the date arrives that is equal to 30 days before the booking date.

    I have read the Deposits Plugin docs and cannot see a way to configure the plugin to calculate either the condition in (a) nor the condition in (b). The Woo Bot says yes it is. Any assistance or confirmation will be much appreciated.
