Determine the Category you arrived from – page template

  • I am trying to display Category >> Subcategory (and style appropriately) for my posts. However, when I use “the_category(‘ – ‘); “, I get all of the categories that a post appears in, when I only want the one that the current user has clicked from. How can I figure out where my user has clicked from?
