• I would like to override certain features with the login page to display different text based on the clients need, but I am struggling to get this implemented in my plugin. I can change the background with css but would like to do it directly in the plugin, and would like to add text to the login form box for example: Welcome to “Website title”

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @lagmeister0,

    Hope you are doing well.

display different text based on the clients need

Developing a custom plugin for meeting client needs is a good idea. But still, there are some login page customization plugins on the WordPress plugin directory. Two popular ones are LoginPress and Custom Login Page Customizer. These plugins suffice most of the login page customization needs.

Give it a try. Hope this helps you.

    Hi @jazeelmuhmd.

Thank you for the recommendation, but the client is very addiment and would like their own plugin to do this. The client believes having their own plugin will give them more control to what the plugin can and can’t access on the website.

    Hey @lagmeister0,

I think you can achieve the same through Custom CSS also. Try it by following this guide.

Another resource you might want to refer to is Customizing the Login Form. It likely goes over much of the same ground as the guide Muhammed linked to, but IMO one cannot have too many references ??
