Device or Screen Width

  • I am wondering if there is a way for it to automatically switch to the mobile version of the site depending on screen width instead of the device. I thought in an earlier version when I resized my browser it would switch to the mobile version. But now it doesn’t seem to do that. But it does if I look at the site on my mobile device.

    Hi @cpaprotna,

    WPtouch and WPtouch Pro uses device (user agent) detection to determine if the mobile theme should be displayed. An exception is with the Classic Redux theme, which includes tablet support. It uses user agent detection to determine if the device is a mobile device, then uses screen size to determine if the device is a tablet.
