Diagnosing Plugin Conflicts

I have used two plugins over the years on different sites without issue. Now, for the first time, I am attempting to use them both on the same site. Unfortunately, when I activate on of them (FeedWordPress), the front-end functionality of the other one (Embedly) breaks. (Specifically, the single-line URLs that it typically turns into Facebook-esque links turn back into single-line URLs.) Like clockwork, if I disable the former, the latter immediately works flawlessly.

Since the Console of the Chrome Dev tools show no errors, I’m not clear where to start when attempting to diagnose plugin conflicts. I’m a designer, not a developer, so I’m trying to figure out if this is something I’ll be able to tackle in a reasonable amount of time. Thanks!
