I tried the drawit plugin but could not get it to work. I am willing to pay for something decent. I need to create BPMN diagrams in WordPress and link elements of the diagram to other diagrams.

I use diagrams.net, but I do not know how to edit my drawings in WordPress or add a drawing to a block, for that matter.

Does anyone know of a good diagraming tool for WordPress?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi @perryjmcleod, a quick search on the plugin repository revealed the Drawit plugin, which uses draw.io (which diagrams.net also uses). I haven’t tried this plugin out, but you may want to check it out!

You may also find some more plugins to try at this search link:

    Courtney,

I have been trying to get DrawIt to work since I installed it. The App opens but forever loads.

I swapped out “https://www.draw.io” for “https://embed.diagrams.net” in the PHP and JS files and cleared my cache, but the app failed to load.

    Any ideas?

Hmm, the plugin page states that the plugin has not been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress, so unfortunately, the the plugin author may no longer be updating it.

It sounds like you already tried replacing the URL as noted in this post in the plugin’s support forums, but they also have another suggestion to edit in the JS file if you haven’t tried that already.

If you run into any further issues, it might be worth making a post in the plugin’s support forums to see if any other users of that plugin could help you out.

    Good luck!

I added the public function as suggested but it crashed my site. After removing it my site went back to normal. I may not have done it right. Is that something you could help with?

Hmm, it sounds like it’s definitely the plugin crashing your site if it returns to normal after deactivating/removing it. I’m afraid I don’t know what else you can do but ask for help in the plugin’s support forums. It does seem like the developer checks in there every once in a while, but you may have better luck getting help from the community of users over there.
