Dictionary reference to ‘room’ and ‘rooms’

I downloaded the free version of this plugin for the reservations on a holiday house website (https://mori11.it) – For now I don’t use it as real reservation system but just to send a request of avilability to the owner. Finally, once the owner and the customer have reached an agreement, the owner marks as reserved the days on calendar, sending to the customer the mail confirmation.

I translated it in italian (so if someone needs booking-package-it_IT.po and booking-package-it_IT.mo, just ask) me, but I came across a little problem. I was wondering about how to translate the word “Room:” occurring into the first mail by using the shortcode [guests] (https://pasteboard.co/JBUzPUC.jpg).

I added the word ‘room’ to the it_IT .po file but I didn’t show any change. Until I did a search over the whole code, and I found this: (https://pasteboard.co/JBUCd1M.jpg)

The word ‘room’ is refernced as __(‘room’… sometimes, and sometimes as __(‘Room’…

So, I added ‘Room’ into my italian .po and now I can see the translation. (https://pasteboard.co/JBUDGme.jpg).

Did I misunderstand something?

Another question.
The plugins sends twice the New reservation mail to the administrator. I’ve looked everywhere but I can’t figure why.
