did not add self as user

i have installed collabpress & am having a look at whether or not it will be suitable for us to use. at the moment it is a little bit non-intuitive, i am not finding things where i think i will find them, but since there don’t seem to be many other good alternatives i am persisting.however: i created a project & did not realise that i needed to add myself as a user. now i cannot access the project, even tho it is showing as an activity, created by me. it does not show up in my list of projects & there doesn’t seem to be any way to delete it. how can i either add myself to it, or delete it?
and how do i add users to a project that has already been created? so far the only way seems to be when you first create the project. what about when new people join the project or if you start a project by yourself then want to add others?
