Did nothing :(

  • I thought this plugin was going to be exactly what I was looking for…but it did nothing except put this …[wp_blog_designer]… in the page editor. I updated the basic settings, but beyond that, I couldn’t find any documentation about how to make it work. A lot of info about what it allegedly could do…a lot of selling, but not info about actually using it. Too bad. ??

    Sorry but that documentation link only goes to a list of settings and their descriptions. After all the setting are set I don’t see anything when I view my Blog page except page number x of…and no template!
    How about a troubleshooting checklist…

    Steven, try going to the Blog Designer settings page, scroll down a little to the Standard Settings, and under the Blog Designs drop down, choose a template called “Classical Template.” It is working for me.

    I too just installed,

    just like Deberah, I’m also only getting the short code displayed in the blog page.

    the above manual given by the author doesn’t give any clue to solve that

    That’s so strange. Well, it’s working for me, and it really is an awesome plugin. If you’re getting page numbers but no blog posts, it probably means you haven’t chosen a blog template. Maybe I should make a little video tutorial, but I’m not sure if I can link to it, here. This is the bog designer working on my website: https://dust2life.com/portfolio

    when I access, https://www.mywebsite.com/blog, it only shows,

    [wp_blog_designer]

    in the page. I tried all the templates, right now, i’m on classic. I’ve selected some posts also.
    There was an update by the author 2 days ago. Could the latest release be buggy????

    Nope. I just installed the latest version on another one of my websites, and it’s working. If it is very important to you, I can take a look at it. I am a web developer. Feel free to send me a message at [email protected].

    Me and @hercsl confirmed that this is a bug. Updating WordPress might fix it. @hercsl said he would keep me up to date.
