Did the Job

I noticed a huge load of obsolete term taxonomy relationships in the database. Not sure how they got there or got left behind, most likely a bug in WordPress or a plugin not cleaning up after itself.

This plugin cleaned them up effortlessly and without breaking anything.

It’s the sort of plugin you may only want to have activated when you’re doing a bit of housekeeping. I’m not sure what its footprint is the rest of the time when you’re not using it; for a live site I think I’ll keep it installed but deactivated until such times as I suspect possible database clutter.

I’d also like to be able to automatically remove empty leaf categories, product categories, and other similar empty taxonomies. That’s one for the wishlist.
