Did the last update kill my WordPress?

I dare not try the alpha. My site has broken twice this year, and with 1200 posts its hell of a risk.

That’s totally understandable. 4.4 will be released around early December.

Would it be possible to post a prior version of Twenty-Sixteen that does not require 4.4? I made the mistake of upgrading and now everything is hosed. Having to switch to another theme for a month is annoying. 4.4 alpha is not an option.

…but later revisions break my site (4.3 auto-updated).
You can download other dates by changing the zip filename. As revisions are daily, any date will be downloadable.
