• Hey. This sucker solved several problems for me.

    Be sure – always – to make a backup of your database.

    Install, activate, run from the plug-ins area on left menu bar. Done.

    I had bazillions of utf8 characters from a move between servers for an OS rebuild. Customer was not happy. I edited out
    /** Database Charset to use in creating database tables. */
    define(‘DB_CHARSET’, ‘utf8’);

    and that solved some, but not all, my problems.

    Would you believe I could not edit old posts???? Nope. Something awry there to.

    So, I installed and ran this (did I mention after making a db backup) and BAM! all the strange characters gone, and I could edit posts.

    I’m trusting customer will be happy now.
