Didn’t work for me

  • First let me say that I have tried the free version!

    I liked it at the beginning as it was quite customizable for a free template.

    However after playing around with it and building a site, the front-page widgets are problematic and are not saved if you try to change them. This was a major drawback that made me use another template after all.

    Also I had problems with SEO, the sitemap came out with errors and the site is not that responsive.

    Finally the content and the way it works is based mainly on many… many pages (more than 20), so with the new possibilities of WordPress I find this style old fashioned and time consuming.

    For all the reasons above (and more), I am changing this template.

    To wrap up though if you like what you see and you just want to change colors and make your own layouts, this template is good and straight forward.

    It is recommended only for beginners.

    Thanks for your review and feedback.

    Regarding Front Page widgets, you may be missing something or are not following theme documentation or conflict with plugin, you are not able to make it work. The main beauty of the theme is Front Page Widgets and it works well. If you find any bugs let us know we will definitely fix it.

    Theme is responsive, check demo of the theme.

    Sitemap errors is not related to the theme. Please use good plugin/hosting.

    WordPress Theme Review Rules doesn’t let you create your content that lost during theme change. Following this rules we have created this theme. The theme is almost complete without using plugin. You can create any kind of site or at least demo like site without plugin. But yes like you said you have to create more pages.
    For new possibilities like you are talking, we guess without using plugin ( pagebuilder/gutenberg ), no theme can achieve it. And definitely you can use those plugins on this theme too.

    And Yes, it is quite customizable for a free template. Thank you!

    Thank you for the response.
    If I remember well it was the About Front Page widget that doesn’t save new pages setup. If you change the pages shown then they are not saved. I’ve used only the suggested plugins and nothing extra.

    As I said it is a good template with many customization possibilities, simply it is not my style. If you could look at this bug, it is a very good option.
