[didn't work] Remove query strings from static resources

How could you say that “Remove query strings from static resources” doesn’t work. Are you able to provide any additional information please?

I tried the plug in also had no affect not sure why. I activated it and had no change on the speed test.

Any advice. I really need to get this done.
