Difference between ‘Sort Products’ and ‘Menu Order’

  • In the dashboard products view there is a ‘Sort Products’ option that allows you to drag and drop products into a specific order.

    In the individual product edit view there is a ‘Menu Order’ option which allows you to do the same thing.

    How do these 2 things differ / interact with each other? I can’t find anything in the documentation to explain it.
