Difference between this and WordPress Import Export?

So when you go Tools > Import from the site dashboard, it will give you different platforms to import content from. If you select WordPress at the bottom of the list, it will actually install this plugin.

So this plugin doesn’t do anything more than what the default import export options already provide?

It is the default importer tool for WordPress.

This plugin hasn’t been updated in a really long time and Desktop Server lets me know it every time ??
