    Hello,

SalesForce allows to create web forms which can be included on the website to import leads directly into the SF CRM: Setup > Customize > Leads > Web-to-Lead

I’m wondering what the key differences are between the default feature by SF and this plugin? It’s not 100% clear for me.

I understand that there is some additional functionality, e.g. reject non-biz emails but this could be integrated into the Web-to-Lead forms of SF as well.

It would be great to get some additional insights.

    Thanks so much,

    Philip

    Key difference:

The plugin can do things a form cannot do like

    • Validate input
    • Use a captcha to avoid spam
    • Email you submissions
    • Hide your OrgID so spammers don’t get it
    • … to name a few.

Yes, you could do all that yourself with Javascript, but most people cannot do that, thus the plugin.

    Hi Nick,

I already started using the plugin. Many thanks for the info!
