    Hi,
I’ve noticed that since the recent update the Different Address information boxes are showing despite the check box not being ticked to send to a different address. I thought they were hidden as default until a customer ticked it?
Has this changed and if so, is there any code I can add to hide them until the box is ticked please?
    Thanks,
    Emma

    Hi @emmaswl

Can you please clarify exactly where this Difference Address information you are referring to is located? Is it the Ship to a Different Address at checkout?

If so, it will not be checked by default if the Default to customer billing address option under Shipping Destination is selected in the Shipping settings:

    Hi,
Sorry, yes – at checkout the ‘Ship to different address?’ box is unticked but the fields are all showing underneath it (www.stampedwithlove.uk).
I have the ‘Default to customer billing address selected.
It wasn’t showing them before but they are now.
    Many thanks,
    Emma

    Hi @emmaswl

If the settings are indeed correct, it sounds like there is a conflict with your theme or with another plugin that is overriding the core settings.
    ?
The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.
