    Is there a way to use the ‘Alt’ tag to specify two different messages, one for open and another for close?

    For example, the first could be something like ‘Click to learn more’ and then once everything is expanded the alt text could be something like ‘done’, ‘close’, ‘collapse’…

    It is a small thing, but it would be nice.

    Yes, I have. Here’s what I’m using now;

    [expand title="<strong><em>Latest News</em></strong>
    <strong>Latest News</strong>" alt="Click to read more." swaptitle="Close"]

    What I am hoping to accomplish is to have a different ‘Alt’ message when the article is expanded than when it is closed. In this example I would like to be able to change from ‘Latest News’ to ‘Collapse’. The swaptitle attribute works fine, I’m just looking for this additional functionality. I don’t know if it is possible or important enough to implement but I thought I’d ask in case there is a workaround.

    Thanks for the quick turnaround and a fabulous plugin!

    Ah so. Check out the swapalt attribute in Collapse-Pro-Matic. It’s 5 bucks, but does exactly what you need like so:

    [expand title="On" swaptitle="Off" alt="Enlighten me." swapalt="Turn off the lights!"]Target Content[/expand]
