Different Alt Text for images

  • I sometimes need to use the same image on multiple pages, but would like different Alt text for the image depending on what page it’s on. Is there anyway of doing this beside uploading the image again? This would be a space saver.

  • The alt text is mainly for screen readers, to describe an image that the user can’t see. So if it’s the same image, the same alt text should be used, regardless of where it is.
    You can use different captions than what was entered on upload, if you add the image as an image block.
