Different archive category views

Hello,

I am wondering if there is a way to make WordPress display category archives in two (or more) different ways based on which category is clicked. To explain what I mean, suppose I have two categories: News and Food recipes. With news, the default display of latest entries first is fine. But with food recipes, I would like to be able to display them alphabetically and preferably not all the contetnt but just titles (full content displayed after one clicks a given title).

Is this possible somehow? Many thanks!
