Different badges for different products?

On the screen where you enable the badge on a product it doesn’t seem to have a way to specify which badge to activate for that product.
Unless I’m missing how to enable this I think it would be a great feature to add.
Also the default coming soon red ribbon badge is perfect. I would be great if that particular badge was available to display in top right corner, bottom right and bottom left in addition to the default top left position.
I know you can add a custom image but I don’t have the image template to modify.

There isn’t a way to put different badges to different products. At least, for now. Sorry.
The best way to ensure an image has been right placed (and sized) in all product sizes (due different themes, loop column schemes, liquid design and responsive layouts) is resize the badge image as product image. So you can’t align the red ribbon, because it’s a transparent image (all product area sized) with the ribbon placed in the upper left.
However, you can edit it as you need, and upload as custom image. Download the plugin on your hard disk, and get the image: assets/img/coming_soon_1.png. Edit with Photoshop or any free alternative like GIMP. Save as transparent PNG, and upload it as custom image. That’s all! ??
