Different Blog feeds on Different Pages

    My website is https://www.paranoidonion.com

    What I want to do is on my main page, I want it to only show blog posts in the comics & media category, and under the blog page I want it to only show posts under the blog category.

    I can’t figure out
    1. How to get my feed on the main page to filter out categories
    2. How to get another feed on the blog page similar to that of my main page

    I already successfully made a special template for the blog page so I can use PHP to simulate the feed, but when I tried to copy the HTML from index all it did was display the page as if it was a post (it added the time/date/comment bit).

    I tried to find a page on here or something that talked about this process, but I don’t think I approached searching for that information the right way. I just can’t find anything explaining to me how I would do this.
